We're still growing; and so will you

It is with great pleasure that this week we welcome over 380 people to the SOLACE Summit in Manchester. In recent years we have seen both Solace membership and attendance at the summit steadily rise, and it is fantastic to see the jump up this year to the levels last seen in the mid-2000s.

SOLACE has long been a valued support and learning network for senior staff. One of the highlights of my role is attending our six monthly new chief executive’s briefing. This is where we bring together the latest appointments to the CEO role to discuss the challenges of taking on a new role, share information about the support that is available and start to build their network of colleagues. These groups often develop into long lasting action learning sets as well as develop friendships that endure for many years.
