West Sussex chief suspended

West Sussex CC chief executive Nathan Elvery has been suspended, following a problems at the council’s children’s services department.

The council chief vowed to improve services in May after a damning Ofsted report claimed children’s services had seriously declined since the watchdog’s previous inspection.
