Westminster announces u-turn on cuts to youth services

Westminster City Council leader Nickie Aiken has admitted the council made a mistake when it cut funding to youth services.

Announcing a cash injection of £500,000 a year to boost services for local young people, Cllr Aiken said the rising tide of gang violence and the growth of county lines drug activity had led to the council taking action.
