Guildford BC’s new managing director has ‘settled into the role well’ and has brought ‘energy’ to the leadership team, a Local Government Association peer review team has found.
A report following a corporate peer challenge, which will be discussed by the council’s overview and scrutiny committee next week, said James Whiteman ‘appeared to command the respect and confidence’ of councillors, the corporate management team and staff.
