Workforce pay parity could undermine integration - Green

The integration of NHS and care services could be undermined by a lack of progress on workforce pay parity, the chief executive of Care England warned today.

Speaking at a Parliamentary hearing into the future of adult care funding, Professor Martin Green warned progress could be undermined if Whitehall continued to treat NHS staff separately from local authority-related employees.
