Central Government should provide about £750m funding to help local government establish housing firms in temporary accommodation hotspots, an expert has suggested.
The call comes after the Government’s £750m Local Authority Housing Fund, which aims to help English local authorities obtain housing for those fleeing conflicts, suffered from slow take up by councils.
