Labour is coming under pressure to back its commitment to overhaul the ‘failing’ apprenticeships system with ‘significant, long-term funding’.
The party, which has widely consulted on its plans before finalising its manifesto for the next General Election, has proposed reforming the levy and a new Skills England body to oversee local provision.
