£9.2m windfall for councils

Local authorities across the country are to receive a six-figure windfall after the council-owned company YPO announced £9.2m in dividends.

More than 60 councils are either full or associate members and will receive a share of the profits from the Wakefield-based company, which helps local authorities procure 30,000 products and 80 different public sector frameworks.
