A third of adult social care providers are considering leaving the market, and ‘the situation is now perilous as opposed to challenging’, a conference heard today.
Speaking at the Care England 2023 Conference, CEO of learning disabilities provider Hft Kirsty Mathews said new research showed a ‘significant increase in the proportion of adult social care providers that are now operating in deficit or are experiencing a decrease in their surplus’.
