Local government is in danger of losing its influence over the structural reform of pensions, The MJ has been told.
A briefing by Local Government Information Unit associate, Tom Lawrence, suggested the Government’s collaborative approach – illustrated by the joint Local Government Association (LGA) and Department of Communities and Local Government (DCLG) branding on last year’s call for evidence – had shifted.
