Authority joins forces with FM group

Plans to create a new joint venture between the Norse Group and Middlesbrough Council have taken a step forward after councillors voted to start work on a business case.

The council’s executive voted last week to start producing detailed cases for the potential transfer of 18 services, including building maintenance, school catering and highways.
