Liverpool City Council’s chief executive Ged Fitzgerald has urged his colleagues to remember the ‘absolute prize’ is fiscal devolution.
Speaking at The MJ’s Future Forum North today, Mr Fitzgerald said the Merseyside region had ‘maintained the appetite for more’ after signing its devolution deal a little over a year ago.
