‘Integration is not the only panacea’ for solving all the challenges local government is facing, Salford City Council’s chief executive Tom Stannard has told The MJ’s Future Forum North.
Mr Stannard said population growth was bringing ‘massive levels of challenge’ and deprivation had also worsened due to the pandemic.
