Hunt calls on counties to work with him

 ‘Unless we plan our futures together, we will both fail,’ was the stark message health secretary Jeremy Hunt gave to county councils at the County Council’s Network conference. 

He told paid tribute to the local government sector’s ability to protect adult social care in difficult financial circumstances and said: ‘We need to have full integration of the health and social care system but we need to do it in a smart way.’
