LEPs ‘must be more transparent’

Renewed calls have been made for local enterprise partnerships (LEPs) to be more transparent in the wake of the announcement of the latest growth fund allocations.

As details of the third round of growth deals which will help to fund projects were published, a Local Government Association (LGA) briefing repeated the organisation’s call for a review of LEPs’ role supporting growth.
