LGA needs to 'get its finger out'

The true test of the Local Government Association (LGA) will be how it responds to its peer review, according to the member who pushed for the inspection.

LGA Labour Group leader Jim McMahon told The MJ: ‘It’s great it has been done.

'It’s been well managed and well received but the real test is what we do with it.’
