London Councils calls for more Troubled Families powers

London Councils has called for more powers to build on the boroughs’ success with turning troubled families around.

A report published this week said London boroughs had helped improve the lives of more than 11,500 families in the capital since the launch of the Government’s Troubled Families programme in 2012.
