London Councils demands government answers

London Councils has demanded answers from government on its relaxation of planning rules amid fears it is harming the capital’s town centres. 

The capital has lost 834,000 sq m of office floor space since permissions were relaxed in May 2013 in an attempt to boost the supply of new housing.
