Growing demand and shrinking resources are placing severe pressures on social care for adults, according to Cllr Izzi Seccombe

Adult social care is facing very real and serious funding pressures, the impact of which will ultimately fall on the people who require these services.

The Spending Review is to be announced in November this year and, building on our overarching submission, Spending Smarter: a shared commitment, the Local Government Association (LGA) in conjunction with the Association of Directors of Adult Social Services (ADASS), have put forward a separate submission on adult social care, health and wellbeing to the Treasury.
