MP backs homelessness bill

Conservative MP Bob Blackman has today announced he will use his private members’ bill in a bid to tackle and prevent homelessness in England.

He has called on MPs to back the proposed Homelessness Reduction Bill, which would require councils to take action to prevent people from becoming homeless in the first place.
