The sector has been slow in making a robust case for social care funding from the Treasury, says president of ADASS Beverley Tarka.
Ms Tarka, who was speaking at the National Children and Adult Services conference, said she was delighted Skills for Care have gone out to tender for an expert consultancy to write a ‘full, public-facing report on the social and economic case, for publication by next summer’.
