Welsh minister Mark Drakeford has admitted he faces competition from his colleagues to push through a new Local Government Bill.
Mr Drakeford told The MJ he needed to craft a consensus around his proposals to retain Wales’ 22 local authorities while expecting a ‘new set of regional arrangements for collaboration’.
