I think we can assume that should Labour win the next General Election it will be springtime for sign painters as Whitehall’s departments receive updated nameplates to reflect their new bosses’ priorities.
First to go must surely be the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, a Government department named after an election slogan.
