Oracle for a funding prophecy

The public sector is undergoing enormous change. Budgets are under greater pressure than before, so there is a need to focus on evidence because every pound matters and the public expect their money to be spent well. 

These aims lie at the heart of the work of Project Oracle, an evidence-hub aiming to improve chances for children and young people in London by supporting youth organisations to evaluate their work and creating a source of independently assessed and evaluated projects.
 

Project Oracle can inform decision-making when assessing whether to fund (or stop funding) services aimed at improving children and youth chances in the capital. This ensures that public money is directed to those activities that are likely to have maximum positive impact.
