PAC concerned about devolution oversight

MPs have raised fresh concerns about the oversight and implementation of devolution deals as local government hurtles towards next year’s mayoral elections.

The Public Accounts Committee’s Cities and Local Growth paper highlighted several flaws in the Government’s approach to devolution, including timetabling, accountability and transparency.
