Launching online applications for postal and proxy votes later this month should be ‘urgently reconsidered,’ elections officers have said.
The Association of Electoral Administrators (AEA) said the software to enable online absent vote applications (OAVA) was ‘universally accepted as being unfinished,’ with promised upgrades only due to be implemented in January.
