Portsmouth and Southampton talk combined authorities

The leaders of Portsmouth and Southampton city councils have said they would support the idea of a combined authority in the Solent area.

The two leaders – Portsmouth’s Cllr Donna Jones and Southampton’s Cllr Simon Letts – met earlier this week to discuss the idea of forming a combined authority and yesterday issued a joint statement.
