Salford wins judicial review over transport cuts

Salford City Council has won a legal battle over plans to cut wheelchair bus services to day centres.

His Honour Judge Stephen Davies dismissed the judicial review on 23 October, which had been brought by two local residents – Michael Robson and Jennifer Barrett - following an announcement by the council in July that they were going to withdraw the service.
