Serco apology over failure to pay schools’ staff wages

Outsourcing giant Serco has apologised to schools in Lincolnshire after failing to pay staff wages and invoices.

The managing director of Serco’s citizens services business, Sean Hanson, met with representatives from 40 schools last week following complaints about the firm’s strategic partnership with Lincolnshire CC, which started last April.
