Smarter spend will get Britain building again

Stephen Muers says policymakers must ‘spend smarter’ to tackle the temporary housing crisis, and he proposes a solution to the funding gap.

Government figures show that over 100,000 households including over 130,000 children are in temporary accommodation, the highest figure since records began.
