Three in four councils report social care provider failure

More than three-quarters of councils have had a social care provider go out of business in the past year, according to new research by a local government think tank.

New research by the Local Government Information Unit (LGiU) on contingency planning for when care providers fail has revealed 77% of local authorities have recently experienced the issue.
