Local government’s largest trade union has warned any attempt to impose a controversial crackdown on strikes will be met with strong opposition.
At the Trades Union Congress (TUC) annual conference in Liverpool yesterday, union leaders rallied against the Strikes (Minimum Service Level) Act, which came into force in July and is designed to reduce the impact of strikes.
