What a month it has been! Christmas is in the dim and distant past and we are now in full-on January/February greyness.
As a county council director of finance and president of the Society of County Treasurers, I have had meetings with the Department for Communities and Local Government, the Local Government Association, the County Councils’ Network, the Society of County Treasurers and many others on the provisional settlement.
