‘Worst Bill in decades’ faces peers pummelling

Lords hope to inflict more damage to the Housing and Planning Bill tomorrow and pile further pressure on the Government after two defeats this week.

Former Local Government Association (LGA) chairman Lord Beecham told The MJ peers were hoping to table ‘one or two winnable amendments a day’ as the Bill moved to report stage.
