Interim chief vows to ‘get to bottom’ of South Ribble failures

South Ribble’s BC’s new interim chief executive has vowed to ‘get to the bottom’ of council failures, following a damning investigation into safeguarding.

Jean Hunter said she would ‘put things right’ at South Ribble BC, one week after a report on the council’s handling of a safeguarding review uncovered ‘major corporate governance failures’ and ‘weak political and senior management leadership’ at the authority.
