£600m boost for social care workforce will help directors 'sleep better'

Association of Directors of Adult Social Services members will ‘sleep better’ after ministers released details of £600m of promised funding to bolster the sector’s workforce, the organisation’s president has said.

Beverley Tarka welcomed the money being focused on enabling councils to address the staffing crisis in social care, provide more care at home and support carers.
