A campaign to dispel some of the myths about local government

You barely need me to say that local government has an image problem. We all know council workers routinely go beyond the call of duty to do their jobs against a backdrop of budget cuts and increased demands, but they’re often overlooked, underappreciated, and as a result feel rather unloved.

While the NHS stands as a symbol of the life-changing power of public services, the contribution council staff make is routinely overshadowed and underestimated.
