ADASS 'perplexed' at social care plans

Adult social care experts have said they have been left ‘perplexed and concerned’ after last week’s announcement by the Prime Minister.

Boris Johnson unveiled his plans to hike National Insurance (NI) contributions in a bid to pay for health and social care. However, the long-awaited announcement revealed that the £12bn raised annually was set to go to the health service in the first instance.
