Artificial intelligence (AI) technology could save local authorities £500,000 in the next 12 months, a survey of UK councils has found.
Research by data science company Agile Datum found on average councils each expect to save £480,000 from AI and self-learning chatbots over the next year while one in six councils estimate savings of up to £1m.
