Adult care talks snubbed as tensions grow in sector

A sector offer to help build cross-party consensus on the way forward for adult social care has been snubbed by the two main political parties, The MJ can reveal.

The Local Government Association (LGA) had offered to host round table talks to help secure an agreement, writing to leading figures of all the main political parties to invite them to talks.
