The latest shots in the bitter battle over reorganisation in Somerset have been fired.
Sedgemoor DC’s Cllr Brian Smedley has expressed concern that the districts’ opinion poll will be ignored by local government secretary Robert Jenrick in favour of a ‘remote feudal option’ peddled by ‘Medievalists’ at the county council.
