CA staffing fears put council’s lift plans on hold

A town hall lift has become the latest casualty in the combined authority push.

Members of Stratford-upon-Avon Town Council voted last week to put on hold plans to install a new lift in their town hall because they thought the creation of a West Midlands combined authority could lead to an increase in staffing levels.
