Newham LBC is to improve its financial management and capital expenditure processes, after a report by public finance experts CIPFA revealed weaknesses in its financial control.
CIPFA carried out the review on behalf of the Mayor of Newham, Rokhsana Fiaz, who runs the council’s executive function.
