Call for responsible timber sourcing

The Timber Trade Federation (TTF) has called on councils to source timber responsibly as they follow-up on election promises on housing and development.

TTF’s Timber you can Trust initiative aims to partner with councils and the private sector to ensure that timber for construction is sourced sustainably and that only legal and sustainably sourced timber enters the UK market. It wants to increase awareness about the good management of forests among those working in the local government sector.
