Concerned watchdog in warning over council's savings plan

East Dunbartonshire Council needs to do a lot more to save the £28m it needs to over the next three years, Scotland’s local authority watchdog has warned.

In a report published today, the Accounts Commission said it remained ‘concerned’ that significant issues identified in two previous reports had failed to be adequately addressed.
