Failing to extend the Household Support Fund will be ‘catastrophic for many people in our poorest communities,’ Core Cities has warned Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.
In a letter from the leaders of the eight English Core Cities, chair Bev Craig said the fund had been ‘successful at alleviating poverty and hardship’ and had made a ‘vital difference to thousands of our most vulnerable citizens’.
