Cost of Dorset redundancies to be recovered in 20 months

Nine proposed senior officer redundancies made as part of the creation of new unitary Dorset Council will pay for themselves in 20 months, it has been announced.

It is planned that the number of senior officer posts will be reduced from 23 across the current six councils to just seven positions.
