Counties demand U-turn on health funding cuts

Counties have demanded a reversal of planned cuts to public health funding.

The County Councils’ Network (CCN) warned ongoing budget reductions handed down by the Department of Health risked raising long-term costs in the NHS and further destabilising social care.
