District councils need to be ‘active partners’ within Integrated Care Systems (ICS), a report by The King’s Fund charity said today.
There are no legal requirements to involve districts and the report said there was ‘little that compels ICSs to involve district councils specifically or to create spaces for them to take on leadership roles’.
