Districts push for investment zone influence

Some county councils are failing to engage their districts in talks about new investment zones despite ministerial pressure, The MJ understands.

The Government wants to move quickly to create more than 40 low-tax, low-regulation investment zones across England, with streamlined planning processes designed to incentivise growth.
